I do not separate theory from practice. Rather, I engage in a carnival of investigation techniques and media to approach fiction via reality and reality via fiction. I use methods like serious play, perpetual dérive, random editing, pop-up and cut-up, appropriation of {spatial} realities, the faking of fiction and an immaculate consistency of capricious art practice to flirt with the absurd and conscious disorientation. I appropriate existing materials and continuously re-contextualize my works in order to break down societal hierarchies; mock expectations and shift perceptions. And I do expect to get paid.
