Carolin Kropff, Christina Kral, Textiles + Paintings

Studios Lange Strasse 31, Frankfurt
Frankfurt Art Experience

Exhibition and Open Studio

To kick off the 2021 Frankfurt Gallery season, we show in the Studios Lange Strasse 31 textile works by Carolin Kropff and paintings by Christina Kral. In addition to the exhibition, the artists will open their studios for an insight into their respective working methods.

The works in the exhibition stand in stark contrast to each other but have in common a deep commitment to continuous experimentation with materials and genres. Both artists continue to process the experiences they have gathered during their many years abroad. Both understand their studio as a laboratory that can be completely alter depending on the project. While Carolin's studio is a ceramics studio, textile, printing, and painting workshop, Christina's studio alternately transforms into a garden shed, a printmaking workshop, or an empty painting space.

Art Experience Walks

We were part of the Art Experience Walks. These are guided tours through galleries and off space led by art professionals and hosted by The Frankfurt Art Experience.
